An honest look at price, lawn-specific features, and support, including where Jobber comes out ahead. Every Jobber fact here comes from Jobber's own pricing page and help center.
The short answer: for a lawn care or landscaping business, LawnPro costs less at every team size and includes lawn-specific tools Jobber doesn't have: multi-step chemical programs, level billing, price-by-property-size, and pay-for-performance payroll.
Jobber is a strong general field service app. It's the better fit if you need 2-way texting and QuickBooks or Xero sync included on a mid-tier plan, or if most of your work is outside the green industry.
Month-to-month prices in USD. Both companies discount annual billing: LawnPro by 20%, Jobber by up to 25%.
| Logins you need | LawnPro | Jobber Connect | Jobber Grow |
|---|---|---|---|
| Just you | Free Solo, up to 25 customers | $139 | $199 |
| Up to 3 | $39 Startup, 3 employee logins | $199 2–5 users | $299 2–5 users |
| Up to 7 | $129 Grow, 7 employee logins | $299 6–10 users | $399 6–10 users |
| Up to 10 | $186 Grow + 3 extra logins at $19 | $299 | $399 |
| Up to 15 | $249 Plus, 15 employee logins | $399 11–15 users | $499 11–15 users |
LawnPro plans count employee logins; Jobber plans count users. Jobber's cheapest plan, Core, is $49/month for one user and doesn't include route optimization, QuickBooks sync, GPS, or automatic payments. Jobber's top plan, Plus, is $499–$699/month for 2–15 users.
LawnPro runs multi-step chemical programs: a season of fertilization or weed-control rounds per customer, with chemicals assigned to each step and post-application reports. Jobber has no treatment programs, and its chemical tracking is desktop-only, so crews can't log applications from the mobile app.
LawnPro's level billing spreads a season's services into equal monthly payments, with contracts and true-ups, on every plan. Jobber can invoice a recurring job at a fixed price each month, but it has no level-billing contracts.
LawnPro's price matrix prices services by property size, difficulty, and frequency, and pay for performance pays crews the higher of hourly or production pay. Jobber has neither; its help center says commission employee types aren't supported.
Automated review requests and a customer referral program come with LawnPro's Grow plan. On Jobber, both are part of the Marketing Suite, a $99/month add-on unless you're on the Plus plan.
LawnPro's Solo plan is free forever, and US-based phone support answers 7 days a week, 7am–7pm Central. Jobber has a 14-day trial and live support Monday to Friday only.
Choose LawnPro if you run a lawn care, landscaping, or fert-and-squirt business, you sell seasonal programs or level billing, and you want a crew of 3–15 on one plan without paying for team-size brackets.
Choose Jobber if most of your work is in other trades, you rely on Xero, or you need 2-way texting and accounting sync on a mid-tier plan more than you need lawn-specific tools.
Export your client list from Jobber as a CSV file, then import it into LawnPro and map the columns to LawnPro fields. You can start on the free plan, run both side by side while you move your schedule over, and call our support team at 205-369-7052 for help with larger migrations.

Jobber can log the chemical, registration number, target pest, concentration, weather, and applicator, but only from the desktop app, not the mobile app, and it has no multi-step treatment programs.
